The Arch Bishop of the Tanzania Assemblies of God (TAG) Rev. Dr. Barnabas Mtokambali, has urged Bishops, Presybyters, Pastors and all members of TAG church to put their efforts together in reaching the fogotten people groups. He indicated that people groups such as drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes constituted groups of people fogotten in our gospel campaigns. He reitarted that our strategic plan requires us to reach these special groups.
The Arch Bishop made these remarks in his speech to open a two day seminar, organised by The Global Teens Chalenge Ministry, held in the Central Bible College Dodoma, on 19th and 20th November 2015. He said "God values the drug addicts, the alcoholics, and those indulging in prostitution. Thus He has made this seminar possible to give birth to 'Teen Challenge Ministry' in Tanzania". He added that Rev. Valentine Mbuke (vice - bishop Mwanza District) will spearhead the initiative at the national level. Rev Mbuke's church started reaching street boys, drug addicts, and prostitutes of Mwanza City for about six years now.
